The benefits of group sailing courses for solo sailors

ASA group courses are an empowering way to build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships for solo sailors of all experience levels. Go Sail Bahamas’ American Sailing courses offer one-on-one instruction to harness your individual sailing strengths combined with ample opportunities to learn from other sailors (both new and experienced). Together you’ll become more well-rounded and capable sailors and leave your Bahamas sailing vacation with not just new sailing certifications, but new travel buddies and future crewmates too!

Solo travel, group courses: the best of both worlds

Go Sail’s solo travelers have just as much fun as those who come with a spouse, family, or friends— with an added perk! Solo sailors don’t have to share their private queen cabin, giving them unlimited comfort and privacy after a full day of learning and adventure! Our solo-friendly liveaboard courses are the perfect blend of personal space and group camaraderie—ideal for making new friends while still having your own retreat. Whether you’re brand new to sailing or brushing up on your skills, ASA sailing courses with Go Sail Bahamas offer the perfect balance of independence, connection, and alone time!
