Our Bahamas sailing school specializes in making the leap to becoming a confident sailor approachable, fun, and deeply rewarding. At Go Sail Bahamas, you’ll be guided by some of the most experienced and respected instructors in the industry.

We only hire USCG Captains and ASA-certified instructors with extensive backgrounds in both sailing and teaching. Each of our instructors brings not only decades of real-world sailing experience but also expert knowledge of ASA course material and the local waters of the Bahamas and beyond.

You’ll see what makes our Bahamas sailing school and instructors stand apart from the first moments you arrive. Your ASA instructor will take the time to understand your individual goals, experience level, and even the reasons why you want to learn to sail. Then, your ASA instructor will tailor the course to your needs, challenges, and aspirations. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all instruction!

Once on board, your ASA instructor will create a supportive, respectful learning environment. not only build the confidence you need to pass your ASA exams but also the necessary know-how to handle a sailboat on your own. Your Go Sail ASA instructor will never yell and will always treat you with respect and patience, answering all your sailing questions thoughtfully. By the end of your ASA courses in the Bahamas you’ll not only have your ASA sailing certifications but a lifelong sailing mentor as well!

Our policy is once you sail with us, you are part of our crew forever. This means we are a constant resource through your sailing journey. We offer special sailing discounts to ASA members and our alumni for refresher courses and advanced sailing instruction. Charter companies love seeing ASA certifications issued by Go Sail because they know that means a sailor is competent.

Start your sailing journey with confidence and the best instruction available!
