Earn a Bahamas IPC in the Abacos Islands

Our Bahamas sailing school allows you to sail in one of the safest, most scenic regions of the Bahamas. Starting in Marsh Harbour, you’ll embark on a 7-day live-aboard cruise while earning a Bahamas ASA certification, an International Sailing Certification, and the sailing trip of a lifetime!

Why Sail in the Bahamas?

Bahamas ASA courses will teach you valuable sailing skills that you can carry with you to just about anywhere in the world. The sailing conditions in the Abacos are relatively calm, but you’ll still have enough wind to practice tacking, jibing, and other necessary sailing skills. Beyond learning how to sail and getting a Bahamas IPC, there are many reasons why sailing in the Abaco Islands is a vacation of a lifetime.

  • Weather: The weather in the Bahamas is nearly perfect most of the year, making it a wonderful place for a tropical vacation. You’ll experience seemingly endless sunshine during the peak sailing season, which lasts from December through April.
  • Scenery: Can you find a more beautiful setting than the Caribbean? We don’t think so. From the crystal-clear waters to the sugary white sands under the shade of a coconut tree, there’s no better backdrop than what you’ll find in our Bahamas ASA courses.
  • Wildlife: Earning your Bahamas IPC allows you to witness the abundant wildlife in the Abacos. From endangered parrots perched in Caribbean pines to wild horses roaming the beach, you’ll want to bring your camera to capture photos of nature in the Bahamas. Then take a swim to spot sea turtles, tropical fish, and coral reefs.
  • Cuisine: From freshly caught seafood to Caribbean classics like fried plantains, the food in the Bahamas is a feast of colors, textures, and flavors. You’ll get a chance to cook meals on board, but be sure to explore restaurants in Marsh Harbour, Little Harbour, and other areas around the Abaco Islands.
